Hands of Justice accepts applications for scholarships all year. However, due to limited funding and an increase in the number of applicants we may not be able to financially assist all applicants. Applying for a scholarship does not guarantee you will receive one.

Requirements:

• Must be a resident of the State of Texas.

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Applicants must be able to show proof of acceptance or enrollment into vocational training or college.

  • For GED testing, applicants must provide a date, time and testing center.

• Applicants must be a survivor of human trafficking, either labor or sex trafficking.

  • Although we do not wish for you to rehash your trauma, if you are working with an advocate or program, please indicate who and where.

 

Award amounts for scholarships will not exceed $1,500 and are awarded based on need and funds available.
